I'm a mom in need of an artist outlet. I kinda draw, do a little jewelry and nail art, and despite my inability to sculpt, I try to make things in clay.
Cooking and Baking WeekSourdough can seem quite intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Once you have your starter there are many things you can do with it. Bread, pancakes, waffles, English muffins, crackers, and that is just to start! I have seen many different starter recipes. And even tried a few. One started with a bunch of grapes! But really, all you need is water and flour. The bread can be as simple as adding water, flour and salt to the starter, to ones with all kinds of stuff added. Even chocolate! My favorite is a seasoned olive and sun dried tomato loaf. So, let us start with the starter! Starter The main difference between so...
The continuing saga of getting my eyes fixed.
First, I can't really see the computer so there will be typos.
The picture above is an attempt to show my family and my sister how much difference the surgery makes. The first image is only missing the glowing halos bright colors and all light sources have. Fine details were gone. I was shocked to see how old I've gotten! And I still have freckles.because I am looking through a film of fluid, everything is blurred and has a yellow cast. I have found that I need to turn the brightness setting way down on my phone- from 75 to 80% to 15 to 25%. I can see the moon ands bigger stars without glasse...
It takes a special kind of person to be a Minnesotan-totally crazy! And my husband and I are taking off at 6:30 am to drive an hour and an half for my eye surgery. I did mention we are crazy, right?BTW, for those who don't live in the USA- those really low temps are -36c air temp and -55c windchill
I would have done more but I got caught up in reading. I will write more. I'm really enjoying them. Because I haven't watched Flash I don't know the characters, but I love how you write them. And, since I found you to have captured the essence of NaLu so well, I'm guessing these are the same.
I just posted a WIP of the dress I'm working on using the lavender fabric. I'm also working on adjusting a pattern by Martha Boers to use the red shot purple fabric. I really love that fabric so it needed to be something spectacular.=^^=
I'm so happy you love that fabric! I'm sure whatever you make will be splendid!
And I truly, truly appreciate the reviews. It means a lot to me that you're willing to spend your time reading something I wrote. If I've done a very good job you'll want to watch the show!
We are starting to get the channel it is on. Well, sometimes. The CW never comes in well. There are so many other shows we live to watch in that channel that we miss, The 100, iZombie, Pandora, Legends of Tomorrow, etc. The series finally of iZombie is tomorrow. I don't think Legends of Tomorrow is even on any more. I'm totally lost as to what is going on on The 100. Grrrrrr. I may have to see if I can find Flash some where in line. I'm going to get caught up on the 100 that way. So much to watch!
I hope to read some more stories soon. I was having issues with the audio book I borrowed from the library down loading. It finally did, but I only have 5 days before it is due. It is the second if the Game of Thrones books. It is 30+ hours long!
Yay!! Merry Christmas to you and yours! (only for my bestest friends do I drag out the laptop so I can add Gifs!)
I figured you were pretty busy with all your writing. Did you ever get anywhere with the commission thing? I've kept my fingers crossed for you. kinda tricky when one is knitting and baking!
I finished Christmas, round 1, yesterday. We had a light Christmas lunch with Tim's parents today, so they wouldn't be alone. Tomorrow I start round 2. My sister's family will be here the 2nd. The 3rd I collapse. And get caught up on chatting!
Such nice gifs! I'm about to depart for my mom's side of the family Tilbury Xmas ~ just waiting on my sweet and sour meatballs to finish cooking (in the oven) and making a few adjustments to the sauce I made on the stovetop. ^^ It smells pretty darn good I gotta admit!
I haven't gotten any writing commissions, nor for art, BUT one of my writer friends in California MIGHT pay me for editing her work! She's trying to break into writing children's books and she likes my edits. We'll just see where this goes.
