Aww thank you; sure thing!  It's saved for you, then, and it probably won't be dry until at least then anyway, so that works out great! Heart Heart Heart

cool awesome :) I want to build a small shelf and I want to purchase smalls from people to showcase them. This one will be the first.  I hate displaying my own art...makes me feel conceited

Aw that sounds cool!  That's actually one of the things I like about the company "Artomat" that I work with (I make tiny spacescapes on little wood blocks, they take tiny art from all artists and "vend" the art with refurbished cigarette machines that vend art instead of cigarettes).  I've seen some people who have a bunch of tiny art from all sorts of artists arrayed on little shelves and it's adorable!  It's like a mini-gallery; I'll probably have to make one at some point :D  (and if I mentioned this already, forgive me... I know I was just talking to a few people about this and keep getting sidetracked...)

And you should put some of your art on the shelf too!  At least use them as a placeholder until you have more art so your mini art gallery feels more full; you can always switch them out if you feel too weird about it, right?  I know it took some time for me to feel comfortable with hanging up my art too, but then just ran out of space and had to use walls that people would see commonly, and eventually hanging my work became a reminder of where I've been and how far I have yet to go instead :)

Yay, I'll definitely encourage you to join the artomat artists!  They always need more people because people love having tiny art and tiny art galleries :D   (They actually RAN OUT of their art stock from the artists a month or so ago!!!)  There's info on their website but I'll tell you the same thing I just told another mini-artist: if you are interested, I'd suggest ordering the "prototype kit" from their website, which gives instructions and some boxes/blocks that they use (so you can see what works for you and your art).  Once you send in a prototype and it's approved, you can make more for them (and buy supplies from them if you want/need), in sets of 50.  It doesn't pay a lot, but it gets your art out there and a lot of people will find out more about your art through it (I include a shortened business card with each of mine, for instance).

Some examples of my artomat minis if you haven't seen them (I buy the wood blocks from them so I don't have to buy mini canvases and easels and boxes that are the right size to fit in their machines.  I gesso them and then paint right on the blocks):

It's somewhat like it - I think I based it on another galaxy that's edge-on (with respect to us), but it did look pretty similar, and it's hard to make too many distinctions on such a small scale haha :D
