The day of the egg hunt was a brilliant summer day. A light afternoon breeze whistled through the trees outside as Cheep was busy inside packing their supplies for the day. A large wicker basket and eight smaller egg holders fashioned out of individual cups of an egg carton were laid out on the table. Mini Cheeps eagerly chirped as small groups worked together to pull out warm pastries from the oven, and packed a picnic basket. Once all the preparations had been made, the largest Cheep swung open the door, and their adventure had begun! Their goal was clear; they needed to find all of the eggs, one of each color! The mini Cheeps scurried off, checking under every rock and twig before the main Cheep called them back. They had forgotten their bread crumbs! Each mini Cheep was handed a graham cracker that they could use as a way to mark their path or as a tasty snack. With that and a gentle pat on the head, each mini Cheep set off once again.
