Top Five Favorite Posts I've Made

Taking this idea from my friends Jokerforever303 and Mustache-Twirler and making a journal of my top five favorite posts. This was a very hard list to put together, since I like a lot of my own art.

#5: "Joy and Tigger"

This was made from a random idea I had once. Joy is my new favorite Disney/Pixar character because of her cheery and positive personality. Then I thought of how Tigger from "Winnie the Pooh" is a bouncy and happy character as well, and the idea for this picture was born. I originally wanted Tigger to pounce on Joy, but then my mother thought it would be cuter if it were the other way around. And indeed it was!

#4: "Molgera"
After regaining attention on this site, I went back to my older posts and redrew some of them. This is a redraw of one of those old posts. It's a piece of fan art of the Molgera boss fight from "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker". I managed to combine traditional art and digital art with this post: The characters are drawn and colored traditionally, while the background is digital. I'm happy with how this came out.

#3: "A Day To Remember"

This was drawn to celebrate the first anniversary of Disney/Pixar's "Inside Out", which is still one of my favorite Pixar films of all time. This film had left a huge impact on my life, and I wanted to show it with this picture. Everyone is gathering around Joy as she holds a multi-colored memory orb in her hands, recalling the memory of their adventure.

#2: "Maleficent"

This originated from a sketch I made for my art class. I decided to digitize it into this work of art. I really like the glow effects I gave to this picture.

#1: "Emotions At Disneyland: Sleeping Beauty's Castle"

This is part one of the series of drawings I did after a trip to California. The inspiration for this series came from my last trip to Disneyland. At the time I was overly obsessed with "Inside Out", and I was imagining what the emotions would do at "The Happiest Place On Earth". Obviously, Joy would have the time of her life; but what about the other emotions? Thus, this series came to be, and this is as of now my most popular post. This series recently received a bit of polishing and redrawing, but it remains my number 1 favorite post on DeviantArt.

Now for a few honorable mentions:

"Fading Light"

"Life and Destruction"

"Together"

"Volvagia"

My art has changed so much ever since I first joined the DeviantArt community. And it shall continue to improve as I aim to major in Art and Design.
