Kratom - Truth and Extracts... More Bang for Your Buck?… For Someone new to finding the advantages and types of kratom, the buying options can be almost overpowering... and the information is often confusing & conflicting. Are 15X kratom extracts really 15 times more potent than "traditional" kratom powders & leaves? Is 1 vendor's kratom stronger/better/safer then a different vendors? How do I tell if I am buying actual kratom leaves? It is My hope to offer some aid in helping you making good choices (or at least help you to avoid the really bad choices), in regards to purchasing kratom "Incense".Please understand the constraints of This guide, that should be considered editorial, since a lot of the decisions made herein are due to my own search for "the truth", when it comes to buying this wonderful leaf. The claims contained herein are sensible decisions, but are more importantly my private choices, based on my own needs, tastes and concerns - which might not necessarily correspond with yours. I urge you, the reader, to keep your research, and decide on what's ideal for you, according to your needs, choices and concerns. OK -Let us start!KRATOM EXTRACTS: Upon first blush, it appears to make sense (and rescue bucks) to buy 28 grams (that is 1 oz) of "15X Total Spectrum Kratom" for $80*, Then an oz of "Commercial Kratom" leaf or powder for $10*... after all, it's 15X stronger, and only 10X the cost - right?Well, most Likely, not. I have done quite a lot of firsthand and internet research on this, and in my own estimation, along with the general consensus from a number of different users in heaps of forums, is that a "good starter dose" of 15X extracts are usually around two or three g. As it happens, a "great starter dose" of a quality standard commercial leaf or leaf powder is around 7-10 grams, approximately 3 to 5 times the quantity of 15X Kratom. Well, 15X kratom is generally priced upwards of 10-to-15 times more expensive by weight (8 times the amount in my case*), which means you'll likely pay more per dose for the 15X extract then for the equivalent dose of plain leaf or powder. It's true, you need to use more product, which could be unpleasant for you, but you will find options which may fit your way of life, like capsules.Another thing to consider... by definition, an Extract must be removing (extracting) some thing, to be able to "focus something else", and be an extract, right? Now, I really love fresh-squeezed orange juice for breakfast, it is really yummy, in taste and texture and aftertastes. "Frozen from focus" orange juice, is an orange juice infusion... are they the same? I'm not saying that fresh-squeezed OJ is worse or better than "Concentrate", but it's different, & I despise that tin-can taste you get from focus - but you need to select what "taste" is right for you - the exact same holds true when choosing your "flavor" of kratom. WOW, this has to be some powerful stuff! OK, this implies that anybody claiming more than a 20X extract has played a miracle - they have extracted more than 100% (5% times 20 = 100 percent) of the alkaloids in these leaves!! Do you truly want to "dose-up" on something sold as what should be a lie (or at least a careful deception)? Personally, I'm also dubious of anything branded & labeled as "Super" or "Ultra" or "supreme"... you get the idea. PLEASE, Steer Clear of KRYPTON! This product has sometimes been promoted as a 50X kratom, or Krypton Kratom, but it's something that's been adulterated with a different, very strong synthetic opioid - this substance can be deadly! CONCLUSION: As you likely can Tell, I'm personally not really a great lover of kratom extracts, it is my Belief that kratom needs to be used responsibly in its natural, unadulterated form.…
