Description
dA Emoticon: Love 
Just a little piece I stitched up for the Crafted Emoticon Contest for ^projecteducate's Artisan Crafts Week.
This little guy was stitched with DMC rayon embroidery floss on 14-count light green Aida from Charles Craft (which is so close to dA green that it's almost scary). Finished size is 1 5/8 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. Total stitching time was 3.5 hours, almost all of which was done while in the Artisan Crafts chatroom on June 11th.
Design-wise this piece was directly adapted from the "love" emoticon. Only full cross stitch is used in this design, so it's really quite simple.
