All gallery folders have a per week or per day submission limit.
Please only submit your best work: quality over quantity.
Use of bases must abide by the base creator's rules.
Submissions are subject to vote. We reserve the right to decline submissions if they don’t adhere to our quality standards.
Mature content is accepted as long as they abide by DA’s Etiquette Policy and is submitted to the correct folder.
We do not accept watchers-only deviations or AI creations. Please note: If your gallery has images created with AI-assistance or your submission doesn't pass our review, it will be declined. (More info. here)

Once you buy an adoptable, that design becomes yours to use in your stories, artwork, roleplays, or any creative projects. These designs can be anything from humans and animals to fantasy creatures, new species, or even objects and settings. While the concept didn't originate on DeviantArt, this site played a pivotal role in standardising and popularising adoptable culture. But, adoptables are usually seen as something commercial - something you buy, sell, or trade. And while they are, in fact, monetised, here's something that gets overlooked: they're works of art.
