What have people got against Batman?
Everywhere you look there's some spicy hot take the Dark Knight's a fascist. Some of these make decent points, but I have to wonder, where's all the 'Iron Man's a nazi! ' takes? Just look at Spiderman Far From Home, the bugger builds a satellite network that would enable him to kill anyone on the planet with no oversight or guardrails, he straight up tried to murder Bucky, plus Pete fucking Hegseth favourably likened him to Elon Musk (Who also fanboys Mr Strak). Not to mention all the other tech CEO areholes like Bezos, Gates, Peter Thiel and Zuckerbrug. So figured it was time give Batman and Superman a rest from deconstruction and give Iron Man the bollocking the rightly deserves.

Steel Sentinel! Aka Tony Owen. The myth, the man, the moron. Defender of Jigsaw City, hero, captain of industry, titan of technology, playboy, billionaire, legend. Currently sitting on the loo eating a cheeseburger. Ah, but this is no ordinary WC! For in his infinite wisdom, Sentinel has stashed secrets there that could shape the fate of New Darien. Nuclear codes, personal banking files, nudie pics of his ex he intends to broadcast to every corner of the known world! In the hands of lesser mortals, this would be a gross act of negligence, but Steel Sentinel is not like other men! In his infinite wisdom, he will safeguard these secrets, nestled between the bleach and toilet brush (And his gold statue depicting himself heroically biting the nuts of a Velociraptor).
But nefarious forces are at work. Ragonbone, super-crook extraordinaire, seeks to get her weaselly paws on our hero’s hard-earned cash. Scandal! Can Steel Sentinel vanquish this interloper, or will he fall victim to the Salmonella he picked off the toilet seat, Salmonella now lying precariously on the edge of his cheeseburger?

He was originally envisioned as a sorta challenge of "How can I get people in the cold war to like a protagonist whose a weapons manufacturer in a era were literally the last thing we want rn is a weapons" and that was pretty much the vision. You can also draw parallels between lex and tony since both have had moments in their backstories where they give weapons to foreign soldiers, which ended worse for tony then it did lex but thats beside the point. Its like a reverse homelander type deal.
also if I had to guess why batman specifically gets labelled a fascist, I could prolly speculate on greater social factors like the people who say that have never been a place full of violent crime, same reason dirty harry gets labelled as such
but in truth batman is like the no.1 supe and super hero discourse is plagued with people who don't read comics or watch movies that for some reason use the genre to sound intellectual.
