An autumn-tide yarn by up-and-coming author Peter “P.” Yro.
I’m so happy it’s Fall, now. This is my favorite time of year—sweaters, pea coats, watching “Over the Garden Wall” on repeat… Seriously, it’s only been a couple years since that show came out, yet it’s already become a personal tradition.
This cover and (admittedly threadbare lol) story idea were loosely inspired by that sort of warm, if slightly creepy, feel that’s part-and-parcel with OTGW as well as colonial American folklore in general.

The name's Kate. I'm a graphic designer who also dabbles in copywriting and editing. I have worked for independent publishing houses and marketing agencies doing just about everything from manuscript editing to brand identity design!
Book covers, though, oh man. They're the most fun to do. In my spare time, I like to think up story concepts—some serious, some just plain weird—and design covers around them. I hope to populate this account with a collection of those covers (plus covers I've favorited in my quest to absorb as much knowledge as I can!)
