More Gnomon work using A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin for a visual structure project focusing on character and costume designs. I wish I'd had more time to draw more than one iteration of Ged, as he's his youngest at this part of the story, but I did 5.5 costumes for Ged total in a limited amount of time - and 12 costumes total - so alas, he appears at his oldest.
This one features the main character and his aunt early on in the story. Young Ged loves natures and animals so he appears in natural colors and greens here. His aunt, who is a common enough witch, is a shapeshifter character (as in, The Hero's Journey character archetype, not an actual shifter) so she is depicted with an ombre showing how her character exists both in the supernatural and natural worlds.
I love imagining characters from books! It's pretty much the best.
