
Bathroom -UPDATED-

The idea of this work is not mine, it's ~BlueMagician layout of bathroom, you can see it here [link] and I asked her permission to re-work it, mainly to make a reference of alternatives that could be done to make her work better. So, basically the idea is not mine, I'm just trying to refine the work.
So if you don't see this to fit in my gallery, tell me personally, and professionally. Preferably by using notes, and I could delete this deviation or scrap it, depends on what you said.

waduh gw bahkan blom nambah aksesoris apapun,apalagi da plushie, ampun ha3. akhirnya..AKHIRNYA berhasil install juga, n ga nyesel karna lebi cepet dibanding di tempat les,walaupun menunya tambah banyak n gw ga ngerti ha3. nanya dong, gw uda coba edit materialnya di photoshop tetep aj tilenya keliatan palsu,dikasi bump juga gimana wong bahannya keramik... Lu pake normal map ato diapain si, kok bisa pas kena cahaya pinggirannya kaya asli, natnya ada bener/

Hmm.. tile yang buat lantai gue itu sebenernya material khusus mental ray, jadi mungkin di vray nggak akan sama hasilnya, tapi yang jelas itu ada reflectionnya, kalo di standard material mungkin itu isinya reflection->Raytrace, dan valuenya kurang lebih sekitar 50an. Bump gue pake image yang sama dengan diffusenya, jadi nggak perlu bump mapping yang hitam putih itu, yang penting kalo lantai itu kan ada yang permukaannya nggak halus, kalo kita bikin pake photoshop, itu mungkin dapetnya agak susah, lebih baik buat bump kita langsung pake gambar yang sama dengan diffusenya, selama gambar untuk diffuse cukup detail sampai berasa kesan bahwa lantai tersebut tidak murni datar.
Buat yang pinggirannya kayak asli, ini sebenernya teknik modeling hard surface, jadi konsepnya itu semua benda bersudut disekitar kita, sudutnya memiliki kelengkungan. Istilah lainnya, sudut2 ini kena chamfer. Jadi setiap sudut itu gue chamfer, atau gue bikin edge tambahan dan dirapatkan ke pinggiran, lalu di meshsmooth. Jadi ini bukan main di material tapi emang modelingnya yang begitu.
Bikin anduk ya pake plane gue kasih modifier cloth, gue simulate dulu sampe stabil bentuknya, terus di kasih modifier shell biar ada ketebalan, lalu dimeshsmooth. Karena meshsmooth setelah shell, sudut2nya otomatis jadi ilang. Material otomatis menyusul
dengan watermark tentunya.

Seriously, dude.. Cool.. Can u tutorialize it or at least let me know the lighting settings? I've been trying to do this, and looked completely like s**t LOL.
Awesome. My only crit is.. no, not a crit.. rather a suggestion.. why not make a more elegant bathroom? If u can make a wooden tiling, or more complex interior, it would be top notch
