Rules of the Group / FAQ

Rules of CosplayCommissions:

1. You may submit your commissions to more than one folder; If your deviation applies to more than one folder you can submit it to all appropriate folders. Only submit your best commissions to the featured folder, as the purpose is show others your best work only.

2. Do not spam too many photos of a particular commission you have for sale. Multiple photos just clog up the system If you really need to show it from more than one angle 3 tops for that item. If you want to show many photos, post a journal entry.

3. Transactions from a group member are not accountable by CosplayCommissions. If something has gone wrong with your order we are not obligated or able to do anything about it. Use your own discretion when choosing a client and commissioner.

4. Photos with nudity and strong gore are allowed but must have a mature filter set up. If you have a skimpy commission that reveals something over PG13 it must be marked or it will be removed. We'd like to keep the group professional and welcoming, but if you have something to post don't be shy, this is the place to advertise yourself!

5. Only submit finished commissions. I know it's tempting to post what you have so far but most people aren't looking to buy a half made product. In the end it takes up space that will be ignored.

6. Don't use CosplayComissions as a site to sell something you have already bought. This group is only for showing your commission services or to look for someone who can custom make your own order.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I request to have something made? There is a gallery folder labeled "Requests" where you can post a picture and description of what you are looking for. Writing and posting a journal is also a good way to find commissioners willing to make your costume.

2.How do I get my deviations in the featured folder? To get your deviations in featured folder, it must be your best work. I will check your other work before approving the submission. The featured folder is place for looking to see the best you can make.

I know I don't post in here too much (as I don't make commissions) and this is a weird question but I do need help.

So coming home this week for vacation I found out my siblings got into my stuff...Again...While I'm peeved at most of it, the worst is I cannot find the back of my D-tector digivice from Digimon Frontier. (Yes, the version sold in stores.) If I can't find it, I need to figure out something to the back that works. I was thinking of making a new cover in this sense. anyone has any ideas for a light weight back cover with a clip? Or a way to start getting me on the right path? That will be great, thanks!

Some ideas are to make a new fake device completely from scratch, buy a new one, commission someone to make the back, or make the back yourself with probably some form of plastic.

For the plastic I think wonderflex would probably be ideal but you'd need to buy it in large quantities and that can be expensive, same with most any material.  As long as you use some heat-morphing plastic (that's the right thickness) I think it should work though. You can probably find some small scraps from someone else's project somewhere on the internet.

You would also need to find another screw that's the same size to keep it secure in the back. If you had a power tool you could probably use a larger screw if you can't find one the same size.

You should be able to find a similar clip online or at hobby or an art store, maybe even menards.

I'm still learning about making props myself but I hope you were able to get something out of this. Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't notified there was a post in the group. And don't worry about posting too much, this group is for having fun :)

This actually helps so much!!! Currently I painted cardboard black so it wouldn't look too out of place in case I couldn't find anything. And no problem, like I said I only know how to use clay and cardboard props wise. This really does help, thank you!
