Here's an uncolored sketch of my giratina OC, Shade!
Its quite an old sketch, I'll be editing several things with this when I digitally remake it soon.
The more notable things I'll be changing is the shitty blade at the end of his tail (I have no idea why I would put blades at the end of everything...)
Shade was originally a clone of giratina, but seeing how cliche and unoriginal the whole "clone of legendary" thing is, I've edited his backstory quite a bit.
Shade is actually an anomaly, he isn't a true giratina, he's a byproduct of the Trinity project. Trinity was originally a dimensional travel project for use in interstellar transportation. No, the project wasn't a failure, no there was not a massive explosion, there was no accident. The original Trinity project was a success, the first human made cross dimensional portal was created. That is where shade comes in, the scientists discovered a new particle in the other dimension that they named the Trinity Particle, also known as the god particle. WHy did they call it the god particle? Simple, Trinity caused massive transcendance in the cellular makeup of whatever creature it came into contact with. Trinity essentially made normal animals into sentient beings, and sentient beings into demi-gods capable of creating things from sheer willpower alone. The scientist who experimented on himself with the trinity particle deemed this discovery too dangerous to not be maintained by a powerful entity. The scientist decided to do the logical thing and make a giant ghost dragon thing to guard the portal, because why not? What would YOU do if you were halfway to being a god and had to decide how to prevent this god making dimension from falling into the wrong hands? What? Well, ok I guess that idea is cool too. Anyway...
Hence, Shade was born. Shade was gradually conditioned and trained from within his egg to be the guardian of the portal, knowing nothing else but loyalty to his objective and completing his mission....unfortunately for him, all of that would amount to naught. While Shade was being prepared for his duties in interdimensional guardianship, the other scientists were conducting their own experiments with the Trinity particle. I bet you can already guess where this is going, yes, they all had a giant demi-god fight over who should be allowed to use the portal and how its power should be used. This is also how the Trinity device was concieved, the most terrifying weapon in human history. It wasn't all that destructive compared to other WMDs, but comparatively, the material used in constructing the trinity device were tiny and could fit in something as small as a grenade. Anyway, trinity device will be explained later, the main scientist who'd created Shade decided to use this new weapon to close the portal and ensure no one could harness its power... by detonating the device and destroying the entire facility. Before that though, he sent Shade to the reverse world via a quick destination change to the dimensional portal. Once within the reverse world, Shade began taking the form of a Giratina, hence why I said he wasn't a true giratina. Shade, being made of trinity particle byproducts, is capable of altering his form to anything he desires, often resorting to a mass of dark purple smoke and ghostly electromagtnetic fields when in combat. shade is not a Giratina at all, he merely believes he is, and has no true form aside from what he thought he was when he felt Giratinas presence. Therefore it is simply left as Shade is a giratina, since its far too complicated trying to identify what he is, since what he was isn't what he is anymore. Shade doesn't mind, he's plenty happy being a Giratina.
Well, since Shade no longer had a defined purpose anymore since the dimension he was supposed to guard no longer exists, he decided to just explore the world. Many trainers tried to catch him, with no success, since he's not a true pokemon, the capturing devices were very limited in their capabilities of successfully capturing him. Shade eventually decided to choose a trainer to travel with every so often, just for a change of pace. That's another story for another time though.
Shade is very naive and openly friendly to everyone he meets, even if people were unkind towards him. He's often mischevious, but in more of a joking, friendly manner. Shade believes in the kindness and good intentions of everyone around him, even when someone would steal from him, his response would always be "well I guess they just needed it more than I did~" and would move on. Shade also has a love for baking and preparing food for some reason. He doesn't get hungry, he just enjoys the smell and the flavor of foods. Despite his outwardly intimidating appearance (being in the form of a Giratina) He's really a friendly and care free individual, always happy, even when the skies are gray.

I definitely like the backstory you did for Shade. It really goes well and explains much for our Series. Maybe we can follow up with it sometime via RP...
