Iggy Pop and Ron Asheton

This was actually taken last summer, August 30th 2008, at the "Rock am See" festival in Konstanz, Germany.
I was there with a few friends, mainly to see Iggy Pop and the Stooges - the overall lineup wasn't that spectacular, and we were all eager to see this Punk idol live. It was a great experience, a fantastic performance by Mr Osterberg... pity he couldn't quite connect with most of the (German) audience... they were all there for other bands such as "Die Ärtze".

I took quite a few photos of the concert with my small digicam, a Ricoh Caplio R5. This is the best shot, I guess, since it shows Iggy Pop pointing into the audience... nearly directly at me.

It also shows the now deceased guitarist, Ron Asheton. One of his last performances with the band, I think. RIP.
