A crocodile male shaman of the Guanacaste-Nicoya region wearing a celt-form pendant which is made of jadeite. Carefully crafted of blue-green jadeite it shows a composite crocodile being which might represent a transformed shaman or powerful chief. Celt-form pendants of Central America generally indicated high status. Blue jadeite came from the Motagua Valley, Guatemala, and was also used by the Olmec and Maya peoples. It is characterized by its deep blue-green, translucent hue.

Wow! Amazing work! Love it!

I was wondering if you could let me us this image for an Android game called "Kingdoms of Myth", it's turn based strategy game based on a fantasy World. You can find a little bit more info in this rough website made by my colleges lifeisinfinity.eu5.org/infinit… (Sorry for the bad English). Of course you will have full credits of your work and link to your webpage if you want :)

Lot of thanks for your time ;)

P.D: By the way we just created now a Facebook with more recent pictures: www.facebook.com/kingdomsofmyt…

Thnaks a lot, I appreciate this comment that comes from a professional. Dress and ornaments of Central Americas people are as impressive as the ones of Mesoameicas and the Central Andes. It's a fact, but not well-known.

Thanks a lot for your comment. It fits the point. People of Ancient Central America are not well-known, but nevertheless spectacular. Maybe those paintings can change the public mind, so to say.
