Micah isn’t human anymore, but even as a spirit, some days are better than others. While becoming an esk and being freed from his human body relieved some of the pain from his brain injury, the effects on his mind and body could not be fully reversed. Micah often struggles in decision making and coordination and often becomes lost, though at least he cannot really be harmed by anything now. Micah has no obvious signs of injury on his new esk body, however his markings symbolize his mental state at the time of his transformation. His pain and his fear and his confusion manifested into a teardrop shaped blaze marking, while the piebald patterns on his legs and backside are a visual representation of his memory loss.
