Sunk Relief Tablet with Tentacles

Resin cast of a recently molded soapstone carving. Experimental piece done in a sunk-relief style inspired by ancient Egyptian works. Left some tooling marks and surface scratches on the smooth areas and like the overall effect. The relief etched into the flat surface gives a high contrast effect from shadows under strong lighting (black stain added to give a similar look without strong light as well).

First successful 2-part mold and it works! Took many tries to get a bubble-free cast and this was the best so far.
