Over the year i've been making Springtraps (only 2 tho lmao) i think i've caught almost every little detail about this character. And yes, i'm m a y b e copying Rynfox. xd This is mostly for little and big details about st, not basic shapes, that's up to how well you fit refs.
First of all, the biggest detail that most people miss on their st has to be the underbelly. It's extruded after Scott applied subdivision surface. That's what that cubical thing in the corner of the belly is. Scott acctualy does this lot, more examples are plushtrap and withered foxy.
Another thing about the underbelly, that little thing that appears to be floating, is acctualy another face extruded separately.
Now a few things about the torso endoskeleton
The guts, acctualy pretty simple to make. No need for a torus
just use a bezier circle select the desired vert, as press alt+s
Also scott didn't unwrap the textures on the guts of the body.
This is why they appear to have no bump.
Also the bottom of pg's head is not filled in
And in general, pg has a very creased and lumpy shape
He also only has 7 teeth and a pointed mouth
Springtrap's endo materials can easily be re-created in blender.
Just take the specular texture (hard clouds, or turbulence noise in 3ds max) turn it to multiply, and set it as the specular color.
Springtrap's arms aren't just filled with duplicated toruses (what scott thinks arm muscles would look like) but they're also filled with wires as well, best seen in the new aniversery render, which is orthographic, which is always a plus.
The endo ears also have a modeled base, which is a darker material and appears to have a sl endo bump. The bump can not be seen in any other image rather than the jumpscare, so this is hard to decide if this is really a bump or just a weird shadow
The bottom half of the endo ears have little nubs at the ends of those bars.
These are not
on the top half of the endo ears.
Few things about the head, first of all it's really high polly, which is how scott gets those little detailed rips (for the most part)
Second, there is a black duplicated jaw inside the main jaw, which is withered differently
(yeah the teeth are just beveled cubes, not subdivided or edited in any way)
And just like the body, the nose is extruded from the mask after subdivision surface is applied.
And don't make the same mistake i did with v2, the legs are just duplicated arms, after the withering, so all you have to do is wither them more.
