Very awesome to see you are opening these again! I'd love to get one sometime, unfortunately I just got a slew of doctor's bills coming in and just took a vacation! Boo!
I also very much enjoy how thought out and professional your terms of service are, I really feel the need now to make much the same because I always run into problems with commissions that you have thought out so well!

All is well I hope - given they are dr. bills? The terms of service I researched, then tailored to my needs. They are a bit strict, which may cut down on the number of clients, but at least whatever clients I do get, know what they are getting into.

All is relatively well, still fighting to get back the use of my shoulder and hand, but it isn't looking too promising so it may be time to move on I guess haha
And even if they may be strict, I think it saves you a lot of heartache and hassle in the end, plus it also covers you in a legal sense since customers must agree to that if they pay you.  I think it is very wise. =]

What happened to your shoulder?

In all truth I'm not sure.  It could have been multiple repetitive motion injuries, since I have moved 5 times in the past few years, but I do remember falling and jarring it, but it didn't freeze up until 2 weeks or so after that...it had just been sore so I ignored it back then.  This was all almost 3 years ago though, and I let it go until last year.  I figured it would get better and work itself out, but that doesn't seem to be the case.  It has only degraded and I can only use the thumb and pointer finger on my left hand with conviction any more.  Perhaps if I had addressed the issue back then it wouldn't have gotten so bad and they could of fixed it,  who knows!  That'll learn me to avoid doctors hahahha  I'm sure something will work out in the end though, thanks for the concern!

That's weird - perhaps it is some kind of pinched nerve? I had something similar from moving furniture - I tweaked it during the move, but it didn't become a show-stopper until ~2 weeks later. I think it's good you are addressing it, I thought waiting it out would work too (it did not). Hope you are feeling better soon

Hi, I see that many people have been asking to use your wonderful commission/license information sheet as a template and although I hate to be redundant, it won't feel right for me to not ask for your permission first if I can use it as well?

I want some tips on commission info and such. I'm still getting more hype up for my work but will be charging soon i'd like to know how you figured some of the pricing because I can do both traditional and digital media.
Thanks :3

I gauge my prices now based on how much time I have and how many hours it would take to complete it. Think about what you believe your effort/work is worth per hour, and the amount of hours it may take. I also added a few extra costs to traditional pieces b/c of art supplies.

I stumbled into this while trying to think of better ways to layout my own commission information, and this is really the bees knees ._. would you mind if I used it? Or least borrowed form how you've set everything up? It is quite fantastic and I just didn't want to emulate it without asking.

Wow. I found this when I googled "digital art commission rates." This was the first thing that came up. It's a great reference, and I would like to use it as a basis for my own, if you don't mind.

good day~!
i'm currently a wandering artist.. it's hard to find jobs these days.
back when i was in college, profs encouraged us to use traditional media and restricted the use of digital.
i've been thinking about this long ago but i have no 'signature art style' that viewers can point out it's my work. i dunno if that's good or bad. if you run through my gallery it's consisted of various media and genre. maybe majority was due of anime or something. as a experienced artist, can you give me a run-through of your opinion about my works? coz honestly, i'm still lost what to pursue and what my strong points are.

thanks so much. you have a superb gallery! :highfive:

May I have permission to use this as a template for my own commission guidelines? You've done such a fantastic job of getting straight to the point, which I tend to have difficulty doing.
