Omg, I won hfdjd I love him so much

So there's another DTA being hosted for the 4th of july which is today! And when I saw this guy I got super excited for a numerous of reason's and just had to try out for him. I wanted to capture an extremely patriotic mood with this and I hope I did just that. Happy 4th of July also <3

Here's some info that came to me for him c:

Name: Merrick
Nickname(s): A-Merrick-a, Mighty Merrick
Gender: Male
Age: 24 or 25 (Possibly older)
Height: 1'04
Weight: 13.7 lbs
Personality: Merrick is the actual epitome of what an upstanding guy is, his natural righteousness speaking high volumes to anyone that comes in contact with him. He's very good at keeping a level head as well as maintaining a good composure in the face of other's and therefore can come off as quite quintessential or archetypal. This glowchu's often bouts of heroism shine through consistently which are brought on by his constant acts of selflessness and the need to protect and care for others so intently that he often forgets to think about his own safety and as a result has had many brushes with death throughout his life due to it. But because of this guy's strong moral code, he'll often get aggressive toward anyone that attempts to threaten or compromise any innocent lives on his watch and moreover undermine whats right or the greater good and won't hesitate to fight for whats just, verbally or even physically if things happen to get that far. Merrick often suffers from a slightly closed mind due to his high-minded view on specific things and can clash with anyone thats on different grounds than himself involving whats morally right and morally wrong, but he tries his best to stay calm and let other people have their own view points even if they don't exactly stand with his own and he disagrees. Despite all this though, deep rooted feeling's and emotion's lie buried beneath his dauntless exterior, in which he usually likes to keep that way, only the closest one's to him know more than just that side of him that everyone else is so use to seeing.

Fun facts:
- Suffer's from PTSD, survivor's guilt and severe regret due to a traumatic event that took place in his childhood, which ultimately ended up encouraging Merrick to stand up for, help and protect other's.
- His favorite dessert is strawberry shortcake, cupcakes or anything remotely related to it.
- Merrick got his childhood nickname 'A-Merrick-a' from the village/tribe he reign's from of a similar one, Amarika. Seeming to have originated as an insult from bullies who actively picked on him as a child to make him feel bad, his closest friends decided to adapt said nickname into something with meaning and ironically it stuck, becoming a beloved sobriquet from then on. And eventually, his Mother and sister teased him affectionately by referring to him by that name in front of people after catching on to the fact that it was a sweet thing derived between he and his friends.
- Merrick was loosely named after the village/tribe due to his marking's consisting of star's and his black tips tinted with a blue, much like the symbol of said village/tribe which was the flag. And because of this, he wear's a flag around his neck for a neckerchief now and the two other handkerchiefs around his ear and tail to represent it.
- The chu who founded the village Merrick reign's from, was named Amarika. And any name ending with an 'A' pronounced 'Ah' sound were for girls and any name ending with an 'O' pronounced 'Oh' were meant specifically for boy's. So it was very clear to his bullies that the name Merrick, seemed to loosely arrive from Amarika which was in fact a girl name, resulting in them picking on him for it, calling him a girl, using the then derogatory nickname for those purposes.
- Despite actually having them, he only ever eludes to others that he has or may have had siblings, but he neither denies or confirms it.
- Is proud of his heritage and encourages other's to be proud of who they are as well.
- The nickname 'Mighty Merrick' was coined later on in his adulthood, due to the good deeds he's done in the recent year's.
- Loves a good laugh and can joke around on his downtime or when he's feeling extremely relaxed.
- Very Valiant and somewhat stoic on the surface, but is super soft and gentle truthfully. He's just a stronk, honest fluff boy generally who wants to help people and stand up for whats right.
- Due to America not actually existing in the pokemon universe, I decided to come up with a sort of derivative to kind of add to his story so that there is meaning to his theme, but in such a way.
