Description
I've had these pictures done for a while, and I've been meaning to post them. Now I'm finally getting around to it.
Years ago, my brother and I started plotting out a sequel game to the Heroes of Might and Magic series. After the fifth game, it started going back in time to tell stories in the past. We wanted a story moving forward into the future, after Queen Isabel's War and the Demon Messiah. So, we started plotting out the factions and races - and even created our own.
Next we have the Wizards of the Silver League. Unlike many of the other races and nations of Ashan, the mages do not follow a Dragon God. Instead, they place their faith in knowledge and study. Long ago, the greatest of all wizards, Archmage Sar-Elam, touched the conscious mind of Asha, Primordial Dragon God of Order. He created the prison of Sheogh and sealed the spawn of Urgash away. Afterwards, he ascended and became "the Seventh Dragon". Since then, the wizards of the seven cities have sought out ways to follow his example - to ultimately become gods themselves. In this effort, they have created many "half-breed" races, such as orcs, goblins, centaurs, harpies, minotaurs, and gremlins. All of these have since either evolved, rebelled, or grown into their own cultures. They also tinker with artifacts, create constructs, and summon powerful spirits to do their bidding.
Despite being known for vigilant protectors of the world, the wizards have never been well liked by the other nations of Ashan. The demons despise them, the necromancers revile them, the beastmen races hate them, and most "civilized" folk find them haughty and arrogant. That arrogance was what caused the rift between Archmage Cyrus and Queen Isabel during the great war. It took a great deal of work by Zehir, the new Archmage after his father's death, to mend the wounds that broke old alliances and stop the demon's schemes. Now no longer a boy, Zehir discovers a new danger approaching Ashan - one that will require more than magic tricks to defeat.

Heroes of Might and Magic belongs to Ubisoft. And I'm totally okay if they want to use my ideas. XD
More are coming. I think we're about halfway there.

One of my favorite factions. I love the head scarf. Is there any chance you will be doing a creature lineup? No begging or demands, just curious.
