Hey Concepteez,

A good concept solves a problem, a great concept sells a solution. A good concept illustrates an idea, a great concept sells a story.

There is a reason certain creations make it to the Friday Feature. The difference between a good concept and a great concept is very subtle in terms of effort but the result can be seen from a distance.

The artist chosen for this weeks Feature are the ones that can push past a basic idea and use light, colour, form and perspective to tell a story.

In a big budget movie, you can just hear the director yelling 'This it it!' the scene that bring the whole story together, the climax to an epic adventure. This scene just makes you want to track back a few frames and find out what actually happened for the two characters before they ended up here, the chemistry between them seems too strong and shows the amount of love they had build up previously. Great job Jevela

This is a quite beast, its name is Plard and right now its having a quite moment, all is under control staying calm is the top agenda. However, it doesn't take a genius to see that hidden beneath is a creature that is not afraid to gets its hand dirty (or perhaps its paws). megillakitty depicted a creature in this piece that has a dual personality and appears to be loyal to none. Great job getting the balance right.

Only a Post Apocalyptic movie can have this vehicle and get away with using it on screen. This vehicle is grand in its appearance, futuristic and actually has a members of the team peddling it. Would love to find the mechanics behind it, but then it is made for the post apocalyptic era. Anton aka polosatkin went outside his comfort zone to try something new on this one and so he is recognised for his effort.

A cross between a classical original and a futuristic sci-fi, this piece illustrates how wonderfully stakez131290 used primitives interacting and playing with lights. The details in this piece are just fantastic.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and this piece is a great example of how vombavr packed a whole lot of experience into one masterpiece. The triangular composition, the interaction between the different characters and the emotions portrayed by the waiting girl is just epic in its own right. If you are new in the field of art, this piece should be like a benchmark of how to have all the skills in the bag and use them a little at a time.

Till next week,
