Recently we received a message about a deviant problems so I would like anybody to report any issues with another Deviant (whether it be a customer or an artist), giving the username and the details. I will NOT be tagging the user to avoid hate comments from users, but if you see a deviant wrongfully on this list, please politely send me a note or send one to the group so we can have a problem fixed

Only report if:
-The artist did not do agreed upon work (drew wrong thing, being troll with art, did not ever do work after being paid)
-Commissioner never paid the artist
-Any notable reasons that you believe are of reason to report.

PLEASE DO NOT SPAM THESE PEOPLE WITH HATE OR ANYTHING, this is only to be aware of

Artists
Note: Please send images showing that the artist did agree to do the commission and that you did pay them. If they have done a refund, please do not report them to this list.

Citrusbear - if scammed, please check here: ladylirriea.deviantart.com/jou…

QueenEvie/Viinilla/Vaiil/born-stellar/liiav/tokorra/k0v - Will open commissions, sometimes for emergencies, and make you pay before hand and then never complete the commission. Switches accounts a lot. QueenEvie/Viinilla/Vaiil/born-stellar - WATCH OUT!

YukiCalmDown - Owes many people for commissions, doesn't complete commission. often creates many accounts. More info here: 9vi.deviantart.com/journal/SCA…

Customers
FurryFapChap - Didn't pay for works; supplied this image walalala.free.fr/scam-ref.png

Hironoshi - Didn't pay, not communicating. (if known to have internet issues, etc, please send message)

Soryian - Paid, but then demanded refund after artist finished agreed upon piece after seeing what other artists could do for same price. Rushes artists.

Starmanicky - Will pay and have the art done, but will then call the bank and report credit card as stolen (paypal - jon micheal [look out because this DA account is currently inactive and he may make a new account])

QueenEvie/Viinilla/Vaiil/born-stellar/liiav/tokorra/k0v - Will beg for art or bid in auctions or order commissions and will not pay for it. Switches accounts a lot. QueenEvie/Viinilla/Vaiil/born-stellar - WATCH OUT!

warriorcatsfandoms34 - Admitted they were going to use an image by an artist without permission. Asked for a commission and wouldn't pay unless they saw more WIPs. When the deal fell through they stole the sketch and used it. They seem like a troll more than anything. warriorcatsfandoms34 evidence

AmpyPony - Asked for a commission, once it was finished they said they could not pay and have been using the image regardless: scammer alert (updated)
There apology/admitting to being a scammer: Letter of Apology! *****PLEASE READ*****

I have a whole bunch of screenshots showing the exchange that happened above.
My friend told me that she changed her account name to Tosta09.
I don't know if she's changed it since then because she blocked me.

Waited over 3 months for a commission with NO communication from the artist. Asked for a refund today, and they only offered to refund me in MID November or let me wait till May (to MAYBE get my art)

She got very rude and arrogant and then told me if I "keep arguing I will block you"

NOT A FRIENDLY PERSON TO WORK WITH.

Sorry if this isn't the place for this! Didn't think a note would work?

Really glad the community looks out for each other.
Just so everyone is aware, sometimes it takes me a while to get commissions done. It is the school year, and i can only really work on them on weekends. it also depends on how many Commissions i have from other people as well. If you commissioned me first, i generally am going to get yours done before the others, but if yours is taking too long, i will start on others' commissions ( i have had to deal with a few very impatient people in the past...not fun >.<)
If you are at all concerned with the time it is taking your commissions, please, please, PLEASE note me! I will give you a WIP picture that shows where I am at with your commission!
Sorry for the long spew, i just really dont want to be mistaken for a scammer!

In Feb, I inquired about two mystery Gijinka from them, and it took them until May to get to me.  After sending my points, I haven't heard anything from them, even after I sent them a message.  They haven't even updated the page to let people know that three more of the mystery gijinkas (two from me, and another person who bought one) have been bought.

I've got one I need to add to this list. lullabina91Different Styles (colored) by lullabina91

I'm looking up all the info right now, and compiling a copy/paste of our notes to post into my sta.sh that I'll later add to the end of this rant. ^^

But long story made short, she did a commission for me I paid for...but she didn't really do it right. She made a red head a brunette, didn't include a body tattoo on another (including a prominent one on the character's face, both of which had refs and I reminded her of before she finished the pic), and made a Brazilian character...well, Caucasian...because she liked it better, and something about reflections making her paler...? Even though the other white characters in the image look the exact same. Some even darker than her.

I asked that she fix the issues with even a simple color change in GIMP or whatever program she used, but she refused, saying it 'would ruin the look of the pic'. Eventually, she said she'd do me a free picture to make up for itl, as long as I was willing to wait until she was done with her other commissions--which would have been fine, accept she kept brushing me off, one day saying 'I don't do free art anymore' after a couple of years of me diligently waiting and msg'ing repeatedly! :/

She's been otherwise rude, or just ignored me... When she eventually got sick of me asking her about it, she just put me on ignore, even though I never did anything other than ask her for what I had coming to provoke it--and I even never did it with an attitude, as much as I wanted to snap at her. D:<

The pic was a nice job, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't MY characters...followed up by how she treated me afterwards... ;-; I was very kind to her through the whole thing, and tried my very best not to offend her, giving her credit with how well she did the piece and what not, just...that it wasn't right. It'd be like if someone made Trish from DMC chocolate skin toned. It just isn't right--unless that's what you asked for. I even reminded her about the tattoo, which she thanked me for doing so, yet she still left it off.... We were very kind to one another, at first...then, long periods of time between messages, and the commission took a long time...like...a year? But I was patient, and as I said, I got quality work, just...little issues. She was the one who offered a free work, but then never gave it. Why offer something you don't wanna produce? So sad...

I did seem to loose the specific msg where she said she'd give me a free art to make up for it...somehow...or I can't find it in my mess of a backlog--BUT I do have where she replies to me messaging HER about it.

It's no problem. :)

Yep. I suppose that alone is enough proof, but I still wanted to clarify as much as I could. Yeah, she blocked me simply for asking what she already promised me. :/

I'm currently unsure how to go about this because she did do the commission (even though it took a year, I understand that things come up) but the free commission promise being broken and her blocking you was a bit much :/ like I'm borderline with adding her to the list

She made the promise because she...well, didn't really follow the commission. At all. :/ Different hair and skin tones are bad enough, but forgetting a body tattoo, even after you were reminded... I tried to work with her, but she was the one who offered the free commission. I didn't ask for it. The time it took her wasn't a problem for me. The problem was that after a year of me asking about the commission, she blew me off, and when I reminded her of her own promise, she blocked me--which is beyond uncool. I've been doing commissions for about ten years on dA. That's just not how you treat people who've never wronged you. :(

Yeah, I definitely agree that it was wrong for her to deny the free commission and to block you as well :/ It actually looks like she's stopped doing commissions completely for the past 2 years... I'm going to keep an eye on her though to see if she's causing more problems for others and if she is, I'll add her to the list.

Necroposting here ahaha

Am I right, those 115 were points and not $?  If so, the quality she delivered was way too high already, she didn't have to make any changes or show you any sketches, it's a matter of hours she wasn't paid for. Well, 115 points are not even an hr pay, it's 10 minutes... You agree to receive low quality artwork (in this case, of similarity and nothing else) for this price and task.
On the other hand, she had to make changes if it was 115$...

I really like jayomayo's art, but the drawings I paid for were not what I thought I'd get. They came out really sketchy, when in their commissions pricing examples, they were clean. I don't really hold it against them, it was just a buggery mess trying to erase all the sketch lines in the pictures.

I apologize beforehand, for critiquing your idea.  This list may be opening a can of worms, unless you plan to be a superb detective and devote a lot of time to discovering the truth behind every situation.

It should probably be a rule of thumb that it is very difficult to get on this list (like an artist needs 5 infractions accumulated within a 6 month period or something).  I've had some customers who don't read my commission rules, paying me in an unrefundable way (premium membership), and then getting mad about it after asking for something that I won't draw, as stated in my policy.  Is it the customer causing the problems or the artist?  Naturally the customer would say I'm a scammer, and I'd be put on this list.  I wouldn't be putting the customer on this list, because customers will always be ignorant. An exception would be if the customer makes this mistake deliberately with many artists to give him/her reason to slander their names.

It can get very tricky, and I'm sure there are malicious customers as well as malicious artists out there.  Naturally an artist should be more difficult to put up here, since there is a livelihood, serious time and hard work behind the artist, whereas a customer can just make a new account if they want and they are a completely new person.

On another note, maybe you should make a good counterpart to this naughty list.  Artists should be rewarded for doing a good job and build a positive reputation, right?  If I make ten good commissions and then one bad one, I would like those ten to speak in my defense, right?  We need a balance, not just a naughty list.

No, you're fine. Critiques are a good thing.

What I may do is list a number of times reported to me or something because 5 would be hard to reach because there's a huge number of deviants so it'd be very unlikely for somebody to be reported 5 times. I will inspect more about artists being reported and I am requiring people to give details to situations. If an artist is being reported for not drawing something yet they're paid, I'm going to require the person reporting them to send me screenshots showing that they paid as well as the Artist agreeing to draw such thing. (I'm going to add this to the journal.)

With the positive list that'd be hard yet again with the number of deviants and I can't follow everybody to see how well they're doing, although I could create a journal for people to post comments about great experiences they've had with an artist (quality, worth the price, time, etc) if that sounds like a good idea.

I am going to continue to hope that people will talk in defense of those wrongly accused on the list.

Yes. Some had already finished his commissions but he still issued chargebacks on them.

I'm not too familiar with with the stories since a real beware hasn't been made and he commissioned and didn't request refunds from a selected few "talented" artists whose commissions he was proud to have.

I'd just like to say be really careful when posting these kinds of things and be sure to verify them 100% ;w; I've known people who've had their artistic careers ruined by artists' beware and things similar to it; and over nothing more than a misunderstanding or a commissioner just being spiteful for no reason :c
