Actually that's a great idea, I hadn't thought of that, thanks! I haven't posted a fractal in many years but perhaps I'll fire up UF again and take one of your parameter sets for a spin! I'll keep you posted :-)

.. But then you must have UF 6 with the ultra fast calculation algorithm.

Otherwise the rendering will be so slooow.

Hello again! I have spent some time diving deep into your parameters and some of my own with UF6 and it's been fun. But on two of the final renders of my own there are some artifacts and I don't really understand why they're there - not sure what went wrong. Would you be willing to take a look if I send them to you? I'd also send the two I did of your parameters so you can see the results of the colouring algorithm I mentioned. (And even with UF6 two of the renders took over 24 hours!)

Well, if UF is on deep zooming mode and you under the tab "Fractals" the perturbation is set to "Very fast", switch it to "Fast" or "Precise" before you render. You can use "Very fast when you explore, but I think there is high risk for artifacts when you render. Yeah, some of these renders are really tuff

BTW, I am about to go on holiday by bike, so I will not have access to my stationary computer for a while ..

Good tip - thank you!

No problem :aww: Just take it as a tip ;)
