cool, I've accepted the invitation:)
true, the 600pix width limitation on behance is a little annoying. what is even more annoying is how it's impossible to reply directly on comments, kind of kills any possibility of actual discussion over the projects. Then again, almost no one here at dA posts constructive criticism anyway, so at the end of the day, there's no big difference. It's just that I found out that there's almost no one left here at dA from the people I used to watch and chat with, and every time I see daily deviations lately, it makes me ask myself what the hell am I doing here. Despite all the cons of behance, it's place where you see real art and design, contrary to deviantart.

well, anyway, thanks for the comment and see you at behance:)

On several points I agree, but Behance (I'm not talking about the technical difference of width, messaging system etc, but about the users of the first compared to the second) is not different from DA.

It's a matter of percentuals.

On Behance the percentual of professionals and people that do good stuff is bigger than DA, but there are however a part of users that post their random "not-so-well-done" stuff exactly like on DA.

On Da this is the average part, but there are "hidden" gems and you have to browse through a huge ocean of shit, but you can find a lot of interesting people, like on Behance.

On Behance it seems that there are only good stuff but in that case the hidden gems are the "not-so-good" users.

And often, if you find a good artist/designer on DA, he, she has a Behance account.

And, yes, I think that who gives daily deviations should make up his/her mind a bit, because sometimes you realize that a DD is not about quality but about popularity.

See ya on Behance mate, cheers :ahoy:

:) That's true for sure, and that's also my point. Plus, there are hidden gems in some categories, but in serious logo / visual identity design, there's really nothing here. 99.9% of posts are totally amateur bullshit, and the rest mediocre trendy stuff you see everywhere else. There are about 5 people posting some nice typo treatments and logo concepts, but you can watch them all on behance too, so what's the point:)

Yep, see you there mate.
