What the hell???

I don't get it. Seriously. Why is random shit downloaded from Google Images or scribbles done in 30 seconds more popular than pieces, and even some masterpieces, which there was put a lot of effort and love in them here on DeviantART? I'm not talking about myself here, but I've seen enough of artwork by others to tell that those people don't get the respect they deserve. Is a picture of a famous person downloaded from the Internet really better than a darn good photo or graphic art??? Think about it.
