UPDATE TAT![E] by COMMANDER--WOLFE UPDATE TAT![E] by COMMANDER--WOLFE
Honestly, I'm makeing a comic in a small group too, we also do a high quality one as OFF-WHITE. And we update not fast either. People in our country like pretend to complain about the speed of update, as a joke, to express their love to a comic. When we see these complaints we can know how people expect our comic. What I want to do is express that I'm looking forward to see the comic. And now I know my expression was wrong and this will not happen again, I promise.

Instead of complaining you could go to their Patreon page and make a pledge. The more they can fundraise the more frequent their updates can be. They started Off-White on Patreon for a reason but you don't seem to have read that journal...

Excuse me, It was December 13th that I finished this... When the comic had stoped for almost a month.
But that journal was submit on DECEMBER 29TH. So I CAN'T read IT when I did that.
So you don't seem to have read this DETAILS:"Submitted onDecember 13, 2015"...

Ok, you're right about the date... But I still think it could help more if you updated the description with the Off-white Patreon link (now that you are aware of this). There could be some out there who might not have heard about this and willing to donate for the cause. That could actually help the artists update OW more frequently while the comic page you did most probably won't.

Here is the link to the journal : fav.me/d9l1o1h (sorry I am being practical)

Comics take A LOT of time to do, especially such high quality ones as OFF-WHITE!
I now let my watchers wait 2 weeks for a new page of my comic and it is not even close as well drawn as OFF-WHITE. And when it takes me, a small little hobbyist who does not get paid anything, that long to get a page out, then imagine the 3 girls gettign along with the art! I mean, they also have a real life after all and they do this comic for us for free! It would really be great if you could stop being so egoistic and pushing, especially since your art isn't bad at all as I see here. You should have more respect for the artists, because things like this here could maybe even discourage them to draw more. Did you ever thought of that? Support them when you like the comic, and stop complaining. They really do not deserve that

Sooo... is it not good in your country? Could you tell me how to
express our love to a comic is better.

you are welcome c:
I guess it really depends on culture sometimes. While I do not know how things are handled in Poland (where the authors of OFF-WHITE come from), I know that here in Germany it is seen as impolite to rush somebody, even when it is meant friendly. Though it also varies from person to person. So kids usually complain about the lack of updates for comics, etc. but usually when they are told to patiently wait they still complain. So they may mean it as a compliment because they really want to keep reading, but they never openly say so and then get mad at the author for taking so long, because in the end their desire to get more pages overwhelmes the appreciation for the art and story.
This is the case a lot of times and not only here in Germany. From all around the world I and other comic artists have received such comments and 60% of the time the people are ungrateful when we tell them to wait longer. Therefore most people are kind of "expecting" a person to not appreciate the work of a comic when they "complain" about a lack of updates.

To show your gratitude, it might be better to tell the authors directly how much you like their comic, or when drawing own fanart like this piece here that you let the wolf say something like "Keep up the awesome work. I look forward to more pages!"
It is kind of a thing of wording honestly. When you say it more encouragingly, the artists and other people will also embrace it more positively. c:
Complaining always holds some negativity after all, which tells the person that you are not content with the way they work. This is not a very encouraging message to give, so better stay positive when you want to show your appreciaton for something! :D

The self-entitlement in this is real. You really shouldn't complain. Truth be told, remaking old pages and drawing new pages takes a lot more time than people realize. It's also important to know that the people writing the comic for free viewing are not robot slaves who do nothing but update comics for readers, sooo no, you're just being whiny about this.

I understood every word you just said BUT How you can say the self-entitlement in this is real. It is not polite give others definition.

I'm not sure about you, but prodding about updates is usually an offensive thing, not funny or loving in any sort of connotation to most, even as a joke. It usually indicates, as I have said, self-entitlement. It's not polite to do that; in fact, it's the opposite of polite, so I wasn't exactly trying to be polite in the first place.

It's better to show support and love for the comic through fanart and Patreon support, not "complaining jokes." Especially considering what I stated before, it should be no surprise that negativity reaps negativity. Most people who complain about slow-updates or hiatuses are rude people and are not truly supportive of the comic they're being rude for and just expect unrealistic update queues, so that's why it's generally taboo..

I know, my problem is that I complain about the speed update and I have made an apology about this to other people and explained about this. This is just a misunderstanding, and this will not happen again, I promise. But your problem is too subjective and offensive. Must you define others before communion with them? You should know that most people who like to define others are rude people (at least in China). I don't think this is a good attitude to make them accept your opinion. You can tell me where the problem is instead of say something like "The self-entitlement in this is real". In our country, we think a person who like to define others, espacially a stranger, is self-entitlement. And a self-entitled person have no right to judge other people. The self-entitlement in your words is real. You are no better than I am, who are you to judge me? Pay attention to your attitude, please.

I'm sure the language barrier has to do with this, but I'll make myself clear as I can,And thus why this is edited. Complaining about lack of updates is called self-entitlement due to the expectation of quick updates you, as the reader, expects while not realizing the circumstances as to why the updates are not quick. That is why I said "the self entitlement in this is real." This particular piece gives that vibe off, and I was moreso addressing this picture although yes, I did address you to say how this is not polite.

Self-entitlement is not, however, me saying that this picture is rude and self-entitled. I may be judging you negatively based on the negatively told joke which is apparently what this is (not trying to be mean here, but you should at least say that in the description), but that's not self-entitlement, that is judgement. I am not expecting or entitled to anything you do or say.

I judged this based on how it appeared to prod for updates on Off-White. I am not "defining" you or trying to, for that matter. I don't know you. I commented based on nothing save for that (for the majority of viewers who see this) this picture is interpreted as rude and complaining rather than a joke. I was being blunt with no nice undertones when I initially said it, because stuff like this generally irritates me because I hate it when I see people complain about updates and art. I'm sure someone else has explained why this is not generally accepted to you as well.

I'm sorry if things don't seem clear or don't make sense. I will say that "It is not polite give others definition" did not make sense to me, and therefore I can't say I understand what you mean by that. I'm not trying to be mean when I say this now. It's good that you know now that doing this isn't necessarily accepted, but calling me self-entitled is simply not accurate when I explained to you twice why I said what I said. I'm not trying to give you attitude now, I want to clarify things.

It's fine, I'm sure given cultural differences, things will be seen differently depending on the culture. Every culture reacts differently towards things, and this being in English will attract English-speaking people who are Western culture-oriented, and naturally the differences can determine what is acceptable or offensive to someone. This is true for all cultures, really. What people may accept in my culture, for instance, may not be accepted in yours.

I think that in many Western countries (most certainly the majority of people in America) find complaining out of expectation, therefore meriting negative response. Most people at least in America do not like to be complained to or pressured; this is something that holds true to how even deeper things like parenting styles and counseling people work in our culture opposed to others. The same negative response may hold true to other Western countries such as European countries, but I wouldn't know the gritty specifics there. So while it is not seen as rude in your culture, it is in mine and maybe others. So, what really happened here is a response from different cultural perceptions.

"The self entitlement in this is real" is based solely on the context of this comic and my cultural perception. I don't have any hard feelings now that things are put into perspective and into context. Cultural differences tend to be uncommon knowledge among many people unless they are specifically oriented towards cultural studies, so to prevent more cases of misunderstanding I still do recommend you note that this is a culturally based joke in the description. Many people probably won't know that it is without the context put there.

-Shrugs loudly- Also, honestly they aren't currently making much money directly off of making the comic itself, so they have jobs to go to in order to pay their bills. Which takes precedence.

Edit: This is a comic that you get to enjoy for free, please remember that. No one is entitled to give you anything just because you want it? Hate me for saying this if you want, but this is honestly really rude and whiny and self-entitled to spend so much time making a pretty little comic page for the sole purpose of complaining to people who have lives outside of you?

TBH there's nothing about this comic that comes off as a joke. Everything about how this comic was written is assertive and whiny and demanding. I don't know how you expect to be assertive and whiney to people who work hard and then not expect people to point out that that's what you're doing.

It's alright. Cultural differences are a thing. Seeming to be self-entitled to other's time/work is something that's pretty touchy for most people, myself included, so I apologize if I came off as rude myself.
