She had a conceivable financial gain from inheriting the castle. But the current owner wouldn’t sell it to her. So she took “Vampire Dust” to grant her the abilities as a vampire, and used the legend of Baron Eduard Rasputin Vampire, to ruin the blood drive fundraiser.
