Meanwhile, trouble is simmering beneath the nightclub’s delirious atmosphere. Things could get ugly for Krya and friends sooner than they realize.

UPDATE (12/8/23): OK, so I made an edit to this page. Originally, the villain in the bottom 2 panels had a swastika tattooed on his forehead.

But after some deliberation, I decided to remove it, mostly because it didn’t fit the context of the story. Even while I was making this page, I wasn’t sure it would make sense to have a villainous character displaying a blatant hate symbol somehow sneaking into a nightclub without anyone noticing. And based on the feedback I received, it clearly didn’t.

I’m still keeping the thug‘s Iron Cross face mask because that symbol, though controversial, is in slightly more of a gray area. While it is widely used in white supremacist/neo-Nazi circles and considered a hate symbol by anti-defamation groups, I understand it is also embraced in motorcycle culture and metalhead fashion. So I imagine possibly someone would see this thug as just a creepy edgelord or something (though let’s be honest, he’s totally an evil neo-Nazi). The swastika on the other hand was too much on the nose and would/should never be accepted in decent mainstream society, prompting me to remove it from this character.

Besides, I don’t want anyone here on DeviantArt, or other art websites, getting the wrong idea about me or my intentions for this page. Princess of Psykron does deal with some dark subject matter, but I think it should go without saying that I don’t condone Nazi imagery or ideology. I think that much is clear based on the villain’s design and dialogue on this page.

I didn’t mean to write such a big disclaimer. But this is a very controversial topic, and I felt the need to come clean and be transparent about my decision on this matter.
