Saw the episode and just had to make a journal about it. Now, as many of my watchers know I'm that guy who still sticks to the earlier 2 seasons (still my favorite seasons). That's gotta mean I'm against the CMC having cutie marks, right? Well...no, quite the opposite, I'm glad they finally managed to get whet they were trying to achieve 4/5 seasons ago. And in my opinion they're special talent being 'to find others special talent' actually makes kinda sense.

So the storyline and the build up, there's gotta be something wrong with that...no, not at all. I actually loved the storyline and again it made sense. It didn't feel forced, something I was afraid was going to happen (I already knew the CMC was going to get they're cutie mark).
For me, lots of things were explained a bit. Such as DT's behavior. I mean what else can you expect from a mother who's called Spoiled rich. Filthy and Spoiled rich, Diamond Tiara got lucky with her name
Seeing DT getting, let's say "controlled" by her mother explains DT's bossy/bitchy character.
Also one of my fave characters Silverspoon (didn't expect that now did ya) finally had the guts to speak for herself.
And of course Applejacks parents are legitimately dead, or because this is a kids show sleeping.

Next to being a well written episode, lets not forget the songs. Once again this was another musically episode only not forced.
It all worked and I'm happy I can say I'm approve this type of progression.
Now, I do have a tiny little critique...
There cutie marks look kinda boring, don't ya think?
They all look the same (which I know why) and they don't look "fitting" for the CMC. But perhaps that's just an 'getting used to it' aspect (heh, gotta whine about something right?)

Overall, in my opinion like the episode before (which was hilarious and touching, and didn't deserve all the bad shoutouts) this was a great episode and I liked it

Did make a comic of this eps and wanted to upload it today/Sunday but a terrible head kept me from finishing it. So I'll try to upload it tomorrow/Monday.
