The Every Kirby Ever
series is a new project I am working on to produce drawings of ever single official form of Kirby ever made. This includes hats, outfits, colors, body shapes, Kirby-look-alikes, copy abilities, and unused powers from main series games, Super Smash Bros. games, development images, marketing images, merchandise, manga, every Kirby art book, and whatever other places I could find that would present me with more forms of the Pink Puffball. I am even including different versions of the same forms, i.e., all in-game and development versions of the Artist ability. (If you find that I missed one at some point, feel free to point it out to me, but most likely, I either have it listed already, or what you refer to could be a form of one I am including, but is so similar to the one I am using that it is not worth drawing. Also keep in mind, I am one man, and I cannot sanely include EVERY SINGLE version of a couple forms, as they include so much detail, that this would take months more time than I am already spending. Please understand.)
Considering all these sources, and the fact that some forms have multiple different looks through development, I am left with over 500
different Kirby's to draw. That is... a lot. It will likely take me over a year, but after a long break from actually making new things to post, I am in need of something new to motivate me to produce more work. I look forward to this project because I adore the visual style of the Kirby series, and it's simplicity makes for easy inspiration when working on this whole series. If and when new media comes up that presents new Kirby forms, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Switch, or the development designs shown on the Japanese Kirby Twitter, I will add that to my NIGHTMARISHLY long list of forms to use.
I will be labeling all the Kirby's I draw in the descriptions, to show where I found them, so you know they are officially real - "real", meaning made or licensed by HAL Laboratories. This will all culminate in a single large compilation image of every kirby I will have drawn. It will be utterly massive, which is why I have made this a multi-drawing project, rather than a single compilation post like I originally planned. I hope everyone likes it when it releases, as it will likely be the biggest collections of Kirby's ever by one person. After all, again, 500+, guys
