I actually like this style a great deal. It's quirky, bold and captures your interest. I particularly like the effort you've put into your backgrounds. They're something that many artists struggle with and sometimes they don't even draw them at all! I am pleased to see you've not shied away from them and added a lot of detail! Drawing detailed objects (or in your case tents) help you improve all sorts of things like perspective ect. So keep at them! They're awesome.
My only major issue with it is that you've got too much dialogue squished in. I myself do comics and far too often fall prey to the "LETS SHOVE IT ALL IN AND GET IT OVER WITH!" method. But it makes it a little disorientating and off putting to read. (I shall also take this as a lesson and work hard to not do this any more) There's nothing really wrong with the dialogue there's just too much in each panel and this is why I've marked you down on impact just because I'm so frightened off by the walls of text that I'm not paying attention to the lovely art or backgrounds!
I would also advise that you have a little fun with your panel lay-outs! Squares are fine in moderation but monotonous 6 squares a page will get a bit boring for you and your readers. Figuring out where to put everyone is half the fun! Make some weird triangular ones, rectangles or at least make your squares a little bigger. You've got so much border left over that are just full of space to cover in pretty pictures!
Keep going! It's got wonderful potential and I promise you that if you stick at it you'll improve immensely with time! Telling a story through a comic makes you draw things you'd never even think about drawing (Like people taking things off of shelves ect.) and makes you practice so just have fun with it. Good luck!
