As I might've mentioned before, I'm not one for fiddling about with filters too much - but I think it suits this variation of an earlier monochrome offering quite nicely...
Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland
I like how it has a bit of a dark, foreboding kind of mood to it.

This piece exudes raw power in it's observance of nature. Wonderful work with a capture made perfect.
Many thanks, Ken - your appreciation is much appreciated. And your frog cane is a veritable marvel!
Great shot :3
....Beautiful Composition David !!!
Wonderful composition and capture, congrats!
Fine shot and work...
Wish I saw this when I was in Scotland
I think the strong vignetting is helping this work to create some strong impact on the viewer!
Sorry, Billy - no vignetting involved here: bottom left shadow is in fact just that - shadow, from tall trees out of frame. And top left & right are genuine storm clouds rolling in & over. All this helped by a shaft of sunlight hitting the beautiful solitary pine, frame lower & mid-right. Just a matter of right time, right place!
nice work for monocrhome effect
I do like it very much
