What I really admire about this one is the texture and colors that are just beneath the surface. It looks simple but something is bubbling underneath! Nice work! I always want to do a painting that was more muted (I can't think of the word) and I always end up adding a bright blue or something.

Thank you. The biggest challenge was keeping the colors to a minimum and letting the movement of the texture take the prominence over the colors.

I agree that minimizing colors and letting texture take prominence is hard. I've actually never heard it put that way. I do love it and thanks for the enlightenment!
