CLOSED - Rescue Mares

A nearby rescue needed some help with a few horses, so we took these two mares.

MARE 1
Age: 19
Breed: Morgan Cross
Color: Sooty Buckskin
Height: 16.3hh
This mare is GORGEOUS. We call her Missy, but you can name her whatever you like. Missy is IN FOAL to an unknown stallion. She is quite skinny and needs to gain weight quickly and safely for the health of her foal. Additionally, past injuries leave her unable to be jumped, so if she is ridden it would be flat work only.


MARE 2
Age: 7
Breed: Thoroughbred
Color: Smoky Black
Height: 15.3hh
Emma (her name can be changed) is a petite but tall mare. She is young enough to have a successful riding career, but we don't know the extent of her training. Currently, she needs to gain a lot of weight and have her hooves cared for. She has overrun heels, cracked hooves, and needs a trim. It appears that she may have begun training as a racehorse when she was young, but we haven't researched her lip tattoo yet. Emma has some superficial scars.
