Centaur

30min. spitpaint, Photoshop CC2017. I try to stay on track with whatever the daily theme is but man, things have been crazy lately.. not art stuff, just a lot of life things coming up which unfortunately are cutting in on my actual work time. Had a break tonight from that stuff, wanted to try stay on form and picked something from yesterday's topic list that I had an idea for. It's super, super rough, like the underpainting layer is really uh... messy and haphazard. It's masked a bit because I guess of how the shapes ended up, did a copy-paste into and played around with blending modes and smudging to build volume. Originally it was supposed to have just a jet black sphere for a face/head, but I couldn't get away from the glowy red thing lol. Ah well...30min. goes fast!
