I'm a woman fascinated with art. However, I'm not a professional artist and have never studied arts either. So, I'm definitely a hobbist, though making art is more than just a hobby to me. My works are the mirror of my soul, they define who I am and help me express emotions, thoughts and ideas I would never be able to express otherwise. So I can say that the art of creating is one of the things that make me feel alive and bring joy and colors to my days.
The United Nations General Assembly has designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It was yesterday. As a woman, and as one who has witnessed violence first hand for years, this topic is very sensitive to me. I've grown up in an extremely unhealthy environment with an abusive father and remissive mother.
My biological father was verbally abusive: he would yell at us for the smallest things and call us names even when we were in public. He took every chance he got to humiliate us, and the abuse could last for hours. He used to hit both my brother and me, and when I was 4 years old he even g

Alice: "Every woman deserves to be a mom".
John: "She's a stranger to you".
Alice: "Yes, she is. But mothers are never strangers to eac
I'm writing this down, 'cause I'm truly sick of all the sexist speeches I hear and read almost everywhere in real life and on the web. So, let me get this one thing straight: men and women are the SAME. Period. It pisses me off to no end to hear someone call a woman "whore" just because she lives her sexuality freely. That's unfair and hypocritical, and it only shows just how ignorant a person can be. I know men who have had sex with 20 women during their youth, yet nobody has ever called them "whores". So why is a woman who does the same subjected to severe judgement? Just because a woman doesn't have a penis between her legs, it doesn't mea
