That's interesting, not sure how you got that result
It's a Decombinate. Used Sphere in the 1st position, decocube, transform, board and sphere as the 2nd hybrid. Decocube already has a very small sphere in the middle. I upped the max. iterations to increase the two main objects and fiddled around with the transform to get the sphere inside the decocube and interlock the decocubes. A lot of moving around the composition to get the best reflection results.
Ok yeah I get it, a sphere and a DEcomb with a sphere, now you say it makes perfect sense. I kept thinking a sphere with 0 apply scale+add which you can get a series of spheres but tapering in size couldn't figure the 2 end spheres...gotta remember that
