Retro Silver/Bronze Age style cover, a reworking of my good friend MissVee's art, a recreation of a scene from the original Batman TV series.

Retro "Silver Age" comic, a 25-cent "special with 64 big pages from the mid-1970s.

About 1971-72, methinks...

I concur. Comic books sold for 15 cents each in 1971, if you can believe it.

Based on one of my favourite perils scenes ever... I love it!

Plus there's something cathartic in the implication that Milton Berle just got wasted...

Thanks for faving!

There's something fascinating about Lily in that episode... She's just so nonchalant about turning Batgirl into perfume... Not so much evil as totally blithe about it. So it's good to see an illustration using her.

Yes, her attitude about it was perfect. Disassociated and detached.

Good cover :)

Hmm, I wonder where that actress is today. Unlike the original scene, I wanted to make Bats seem more urgent than posed, which is why she's not standing still.

The color is good too though, but an edit button would be fantastic.
