Work has been extra busy to me lately.  I really haven't worked on much of my drawings for over a month now.  That's what happens when tasks need to be done!I started to work on putting laminate flooring in my basement this evening with my father.  It's going to look great when everything is done.  Setting the first few feet was rather difficult, but it's getting easier now.  It's currently about 25% finished.  Here is what has been done so far to the basement in my house:-Redug and replaced basement window eagress structure -Replaced basement eagress window -Removed and replaced the old wall studs with new 2"x3" boards -Replaced all the o...

Wow it's hot.  100 today, yikes.  I was outside with my father putting up new siding on the haus.  This weather took the fight right out of me.I've been grilling a lot of food outdoors this past week to help alleviate some the indoor heat buildup.  Today I grilled ginger shrimp and seasoned shiitake mushrooms.  I combined them into a ramen soup.  One fleeting victory at a time here, people.
