I have been interested in maori tattoo designs (ta moko) for ages now, and I have finally designed one myself, with an influence of my own pattern work (see my gallery) mixed in with a traditional maori negative-space swirly thing...technical, I know. This isn't the complete version, I need to fiddle with paint shop pro to get it perfect but this is nearly it. By the way I am planning to get this as a tattoo in a couple of weeks fior my birthday so anyone who fancies it could just ask me to design another one for them...as I have no problem with that.
Can you design a bracelet with Wind and Sun?
this is beautiful. so intricate. :] i love it.
hey man, can i use this pattern as part of a palette for a school kapahaka festival photo?
this is really cool

Wow I like this alot!! You would be a very good tattoo artist! Maybe open up your own shop!
That'll look very good once it's tattooed, methinks. Great unique design. x

Beautiful design. I love the bold, swirly shapes. I think that'd make for a great tattoo
