I am painting something for my boyfriend for Halloween (we exchange gifts, heehee) and I'd like to do a straight black border on it. If I put masking tape over my already-painted canvas and then paint the border black, will the tape cause any problems for me when I rip it off? Like, will it also rip off the wet black paint or dry paint that is underneath it?I'm using acrylic paints, and the brand is A>2 Chroma Art Students Acrylic. I'd obviously wait until it was bone-dry before putting masking tape on the already-painted part.Any input is much obliged! im fine! i moved to da big city (oslo) this autumn and i love it! im just tired of having to study shit i dont care about, but thats what i get for not paying attention when i should have, so its ok! i need better grades anyway. im thinking of doing game design or something, but then id have to move from oslo and my girlfriend and all the other amazing people here. that or having to sit on a train 3 hours each day. so i dont know.. but ill figure it out some day!
