Hi,
Being from Sweden where living standards are quite high I found it difficult to compete with people from eastern Europe and Asia for example. Even on good months I had a hard time arriving at a normal Swedish wage, freelancing, and my own need to express my love of fantasy through art was over. I also found it socially unsatisfying to work from home, working digitally, producing digital art for people I only had digital connections with and who paid me digital money through digital means 😊
