Neuschwanstein Castle is such a beautiful fairytale building it's unreal! Therefore I just had to edit it with these surreal colors and a bit of the usual noisy-look :blushes: but I'm also uploading the real-color-version:
Neuschwanstein Castle by cloe-patra tell me which one you like better!
We went there on my birthday last year and the whole week of our vacation the weather was beautiful, so warm and sunny, but of course when we got there it was raining cats and dogs basically whole day long :umbrella:
The only good part I think was that there were probably less tourists? maybe? anyways it was still too crowded for my taste :D Also, to me the inside of the castle can not at all keep up with the outside, so you can really save that money and look at the beautiful landscape for free :)
For this view you see here you have to stand on Marie's bridge, problem is: I'm a little scared of heights and as I said it was pouring rain, I had no umbrella and my camera was only amateurishly wrapped in a plastic bag so I basically ran on he bridge, took this and a couple more photos and ran back under the trees. I think considering this I got a surprisingly good photo. In my opinion the rainy/ foggy landscape even kind of adds to it, what do you think?

I'm also gonna be submitting some more photos from my trip to the Allgäu that I did about a year ago, I know - it's really about time :D you can then view them here: Travel Photography - Allgäu (yes, I organized my gallery Wink/Razz)

I like both shots, yet this one is more captivating, imo, because of red foliage. Been to that castle back in 1995, don’t remember much of the interiors. Only the view and a small bridge above the abyss, loved it :)

Ist das Rot schon Herbstlaub oder ein bisschen nachgeholfen?

Mehr als nur ein bisschen nachgeholfen :D ;)

Wieso hat sich von dem Rot aber nichts an den Schloßmauern abgebildet?
cloe-may's avatar
Ich habe nur die Farbe des Grüns geändert in Photoshop ;)

Ist im Weiss der Mauer nichts Grünes drin?

Very beautiful and fairy tale-like as if seen through the rose colored window of a child who lives just across the mountain. Lovely!

Oh my gosh, you are amazing!!!  I can't believe how beautiful this is!  I love the colors, and I agree that the rainy/foggy landscape adds to it.  I love them both, but I'd have to say that this one is my favorite.  It's just more enchanting to me.  You did a good job on not editing it too much.  Overall, it's a beautiful piece.  Custom heart [Ruby Red] Kitty face
