Through The Hole In The Glass (Poetry by Clive Blake of Cornwall) Phoetry – Visual Poetry – Concrete Poetry - Poetry
Behind an old window,
A young girl often gazed,
Through a thin shattered pane,
Through a large hole unglazed.
The uncaring world pass,
To the more wealthy mass.
When life became too tough,
Her daydreams would unfold,
As protection against her
Brave hopes growing cold.
Where her mind could explore,
Expanding like light-gas,
And her thoughts could escape
Through the hole in the glass.
This 'phoem' is titled "Through The Hole In The Glass” (Poetry by Clive Blake of Cornwall) Phoetry – Visual Poetry – Concrete Poetry - Poetry,
from the 'Phoetry Book', View Points and Points of View".
I describe Phoetry as a fusion of poetry and photography.
I came up with the Phoetry concept in 1994.
Phoetry can also be described as Visual Poetry and loosely described as Concrete Poetry.

I wanted to comment on the poetry as well ... that looks and feel and makes me cry ... I feel like the girl in the glass and then reading your poetry ... omg! I cried ... the girl in the glass grew up ! and she still looks through the hole day dreaming as the world the wealthy that seem to never have never noticed her... SHE never cares ... for her imagination ad what she brings to the table is far more worth than the world that carries coins in their pockets lol Her imagination has grown and its became beautiful but now instead of the world getting to know her she has all this beauty in side her mind alone! is beyond what many couldnt even begin to know ... but she does let some out through the hole in the glass , how can she not she cannot contain it as she smiles
... wow! sorry I get carried away but this is more than beautiful ! ~
