August 9-10, 2014 is the 3rd Annual Stockton-Con event here in NorCal! This will be my 3rd year appearing in the Artist's Alley at Stockton-Con as well. I will be joining my colleagues from my art group, Rise and Wreck Studio, for this journey to fulfill a career in the art business. Stockton is our home, and Stockton-Con is where we started together. This journey is risk taking and there's a lot of sacrifice choices to make to where we want to be in this career. This year I will be headed out to Phoenix ComiCon 2014 on June 5th-8th for the first time. I want to know how the the scene is, and how Arizona looks like. For a fact, I know it's going to be HOT! But it's a chance for me to explore more, and get out into the world. I like adventure, what better way than to take a road trip to Arizona for a comic convention. (?) I will be uploading more work soon, until next time, take care!
This past weekend was my first time attending Big Wow, ever. The crowd was so much bigger than I thought it would be. Myself and one of my fellow members of my Rise and Wreck Studio crew, Johnnie Sao had a table in the Artists Alley area for the first time there. It was a decent turn out for our booth, Johnnie had a lot of commissions all weekend, so I'm proud he got a few sketches done for some great people. Met a couple artists who gave me excellent tips on how to further my career into the comic book business, and I am truly honored to have met such fantastic artists. They are super cool people, that I now look up to for inspiration. After
