Is that a new model?
Godddamn right it is!
Well, this is Tamiya's Stegosaurus Stenops. My step-daughter and I worked on it since Easter (she had me by it as my gift to her for Easter). She did a large amount of the airbrushing and parts assembly. I did clean up, touch up, glosscoat, and wash. She's grown a lot since the first kit we put together (Triceratops' skeleton).
Well, along the way, we managed to lose the instructions, so I basically slammed it together based on the drawing. Hence, the colors are more my idea and less what the instructions wanted. Oh well. Looks nice, no?
She wants me to make a full display stand. I just might finally do it.

Wow!
That's an absolutely horrible kit sculpt.
Okay, I’m not buying that Tamiya kit. I’ve got the awful Lindberg stegosaur kit instead.
(But I’m using it for practice air brushing paint as well, so I don’t mind.)
It’s not bad though, they’re great for playing with paint/camouflage patterns, and it’s always fun building dinosaur models.
Good that you're helping her build them!
