Holy. Seems like time flies when I don't pay attention. 9 years seems like a long time without something to compare it to when I'm building. Winter is back so I'm back to working in the basement, building and probably accelerating whatever damage my hobby does to my lungs for another fun filled season. Always have high hopes of damaging the piles of backlogs but reality tries to rain on that parade. Let's see what I accomplish this season.
So I have two B-Club Conversions nearing glosscoat. Tomorrow will be a loss due to me being pulled into a meeting at work 3 hours before I have to go to work. Guess it gives me time to see if I like what I"m doing with the paint schemes. I'm hoping to have these done soon, but time and my own madness will dictate that reality. I had my first offer to do work for a kid wanting his custom Halo figure. Since I don't put a lot of thought into doing custom work for cash, I'll let the kid decide if it's worth the money. I honestly never care but do have a ton of figures left to finish with whatever scheme works. Yeah, exciting times.
Goddamn summer has flown. Being busy working two jobs and trying to sell of my 40 has eaten all my time. I putz with a kit here and there (have a kit that was damn near ready until the nephew decided to play and snap off a bit... will fix it soon) plus two custom Halo figures nearly ready. I just can't find a moment to pull the trigger. My mind has been too preoccupied with the land and the ensuing family drama. Today I had a reversal of fortunes and now the land is up for sale again but being bought again. I am so freaking confused by all of this.
