Hello, it's time for another article of pixel delights, as well as some interesting pixel related news and happenings.
Pixcellent Artists Issue #40 is now out and worth a browse for some of the top picks from the group's gallery.
Although not strictly Pixel Art category related, as a part of my Deviant Stamps work, I'd like to promote the new CR Stamp Project. You'd all know I have quite a thing for stamps, so take some of that passion and get making, there's even some subs to be won and you'll be supporting a great, hard working bunch of people in the community c: If you need any help getting started with or taking your stamps to the next level, see my Stamps for Beginners and Beyond II article, which has just recently been rewritten and republished.
vanmall is running a Pixel Project that is worth having a look at it, it's an isometric project so if you haven't tried that out before, giving it a go might be a good chance to give something new a go.
Ichitoko is talking to the community about what you find hard in pixelling. Join in the discussion to hear what other people think on the subject, and perhaps you'll find together that there are resources, techniques or just common problems that others are also facing.
Update on the Pixel Art Gallery Restructure - still no news but I am officially putting your ideas forward and have gotten the chance to reply to everyone on the journal. Don't be offended if you feel like I may not have addressed every point, if there's something you'd like to say still do feel free to continue discussions there, I was just trying to make it a priority to get back to everyone at last. I'll let you all know as soon as I know anything definite about what is going to happen.
