Biggest painting I've ever done, another oil painting, inspired by Robin Sealark (you can find her on youtube and instagram). She does cool coloured waves and I wanted to try. I'm not used to working on canvas, so I'm now switching to wood for a smoother finish, we'll see how that goes.

Well considering I used a photographic reference; yes, and there were many shots in the series that had various colours of green and brown and red. It's what waves look like when light goes through them. I've seen it myself, you just need the right beach conditions. Secondly, this sounds like interrogation of my ability to make it look like perfect realism, when it is not an attempt at realism, I thought it was fairly apparent that the colours are more saturated than the real thing and thus not at all like a photographic recreation (but then most people seem to have interpreted this as realism and photo like, so *Shrug*?).
